Awakened …now Arise
The Lord showed me three seasons (each beginning with Rosh Hashanah in 2008):
- Awakening (2008 – 2012). This isn’t an awakening of souls, but of an expanding understanding of God. A re-imaging of the face of God on the earth. An expanded view of His Kingdom. Light does not flee from darkness.
- Arising (2012 – 2015) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. (Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV) — An Angel is beginning this year to impose the will of Heaven on this government. In my vision a few of the lights began to climb the mountain. Early arisers. 50,000,000 in number. We need to be at every stage of the mountain. It’s not enough just to get a Christian president elected. Salt used as a preserver is caked on – not just sprinkled.
- Shining (2015) — Enough light will be on us that entire nations will be contended for. Be prepared not only to be the gospel of salvation, but the gospel of “salvation.” We will be given divine ability to solve problems of nations. This is what Joseph did. He ministered out of intimacy. We’ll minister the gospel of “salvation” out of our intimate relationship with God. Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. (Daniel 12:3 NKJV) All nations will come and recognise the light on the sons and daughters of the King. There will be supernatural solutions for every crisis on earth coming from the sons and daughters. This is just around the corner!
We are not called to survive as a church, we are called to deliver the world.

And the ends of the earth for Your possession.

2000 years 12 men did, now it’s your turn in 2012
2000 yrs ago+ 12 ordinary men= 2012 + you =
As I was having communion with my family on NYE around my mum’s kitchen table I was taken into a vision. I was now with the twelve disciples around a similar table having communion with Jesus. This table was low and we had to recline around it to break bread and chat.
I was there in the midst of this Holy activity and these disciples were just like anyone else you would know. They seemed perfectly ordinary men in every way as I watched them interact with Jesus. They were not outstanding because of any natural talents or intellectual abilities. They were His ragtag bunch of men who couldn’t comprehend the power of God, struggled with their own sins, wrestled with the cost of commitment and too often, to put it plainly, could be quite dense as to what was going on.
Jesus talked to them with such love about prayer, forgiveness, humility, giving them moral instruction, I heard Him speak to them of things to come. They talked about the people they had met, the miracles, signs and wonders.
They were disciples, students, but not in a classroom and lecture sense. They learned by being with and hearing from Jesus. They were apprentices, and learned from the Master first hand.
I asked Jesus why He appointed twelve.
“Why? That they might be with Me”
It was like the bread that I ate there at that table became revelation ~ The first job of the disciples was simple to be with Jesus, to learn from being around Him. Then, in a secondary sense He chose them that He might send them out to preach.
With Jesus words, the vision ended and I chewed on the scene further …. A preacher will only be as useful to Jesus to the extent that He has “been with” Jesus. There is little done for eternal good by those who preach without having a real, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
When someone has been with Jesus, and is sent out to serve Him, they can expect that Jesus will give them to power to serve Him, including the power to see miraculous works (heal sicknesses and to cast our demons) done in their midst.
In all, they had about 18 months of training and were then sent out on a mission too vast for any reasonable expectation of success.
When I think of 2012 I think 2000 years ago these 12 quite ordinary men achieved the extraordinary. Jesus shaped His disciples for greatness and He wants to do the same with you?
How?
By communing with Him.
He appointed twelve ….. that he might send them out to preach. Mk3v14.
He wants to do the same through you in 2012?
Are you willing to be His disciple?
To answer when He calls?
To follow where He leads?
To go where He sends?
To listen to Him teach?
To learn at His feet?
You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing.
Jesus is calling you to be His disciple.
Will you answer the call?
The twelve disciples/apostles were ordinary men whom God used in an extraordinary manner.
After witnessing Jesus’ resurrection and ascension into heaven, the Holy Spirit transformed the disciples/apostles into powerful men of God who turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6).
What was the change?
The twelve apostles/disciples had “been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13).
May the same be said of us!
Dreaming with God
We’ve been given the capacity to dream and, more importantly, to dream with God. His language continues to be unveiled, His heart is being imparted, and permission has been given to try to exaggerate His goodness. In God’s realm, speaking to man through dreams is very normal. In a dream God can teach you, warn you, impart gifts to you, guide you, and much more.
Job 33:14-17 Amplified Version “For God (does reveal His will; He) speaks not only once, but more than once, even though men do not regard it. (One may hear God’s voice) in a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, while slumbering upon the bed.”
The word dream (-s, -ed, -er) appears 123 times in the King James version of the Bible The phrase “vision of the night ” appears 12 times. As seen in Job 33, it refers to dreams. “Visions of my head upon my bed” is found six times. I love it when He speaks to us through dreams.
I had a really vivid dream the first night I slept in Mozambique. Since then I’ve had this recurring dream that I can see in detail even now as I write this. Im in a dimly lit loft conversion in the tourist quarter of what seems to be an asian three storey building. I was peeking through a curtain behind a mountain of boxes reeking of drink. I watch praying under my breath to my friend hear from Heaven for the brothel owner and his associate. I hear screeching from downstairs and see myself run down the spiral staircase.
As I open a doorway into the back alleyway I see a huge black cockerel bullying a flock of little chicks which were squealing and running towards me, I gather them up in my arms and put them in a basket of a nearby motorbike. I take off down the hill with the chicks safely behind me, and as we head up another hill in front of us I turn back and see the chicks have turned into little children who are laughing and holding on to each other, the motorbike has turned into a school bus and its now full of children.
I wake up in my bunk bed to hear my iPod playing a vodcast called ‘Children at risk ~Trafficking in Cambodia’…

When we were in Mozambique it was given the go ahead!
Two weeks later an amazing world changer who is bringing change to this industry sent me a book called ‘the urban angel’ and blessed me massively…. Holy Spirit is setting up a network of laid down lovers to dream with Him and change people, culture and nations…. think of this today 11/11/11
The last three months….TRANSITION CENTRAL!

It’s been almost three months since we returned and in that short space of time, ALOT has happened!
Here’s just a little of it-
~ I married my dream man (I’ll share that story soon….)
~ Became part of a great family in Kent, where my Grandfather came from…
~ Founded and started the Awakening School with my hubby
~ Witnessed incredible miracles, encounters and transformations in Africa, England and Ireland
~ Dreamed bigger than ever before
Adventures in Glastonbury
Glastonbury definitely was preparing me for Africa…. spiritually, physically and emotionally! Going to Hong Kong and China last year gave me a taste for how life feels in the Far East where the supernatural seems to be so much more part of daily life.
Miracles were marketed much the way we might advertise cars or hi-fashion. Unlike our culture where eyebrows are often raised at the prospect, the East seems to accept the miraculous as an everyday part of life.
We in the West have much “over” the eastern culture as far as material comforts, but I can’t help but crave their inculcated belief in miracles.
I have got to see how Love is expressed through miracles. Love generates miracles, as well. When we learn to love, wonders naturally follow.
I myself am a firm believer in miracles. I see them everyday. I’ve come to understand miracles as everyday occurrences waiting only for my acknowledgment.
I’m going to work with Heidi Baker and Iris Ministries …
ministering to the poor, the orphans, healing the sick, raising the dead,
loving the unloved and driving out demons….miracles there are normal.
I experienced the supernatural with Jackie Pullinger at St Stephen’s Society in Hong Kong last year butHe has been AWAKENING me to what can and will happen HERE and
He wants to do the same with you! NO EXCEPTIONS! It all happens as a by-product of being a friend of God. God is SO real and relational that it blows people’s minds.
As a team preparing for Mozambique we have been speaking out each other’s destiny over each other, hitting towns with the goodness of God, sharing God’s love for people in bars, cars, on the streets, anywhere and everywhere we go…..seeing many precious people loved, healed and encouraged.
On one of our weekend residentials we went into three bars where the Lord had led us to specific named individuals to pray and encourage them and as we prayed for them, others asked for prayer. As we walked the main street we were given the opportunity to stop and pray for people as they sat in their cars.
Whilst being out with ‘Beautiful Feet’ we’ve seen drug addicts and alcoholics sober up and come into their right mind while their creator took away their pain and nightmares.
This barman got all the customers to stop and let us pray with them …. and asked me to pray for his new born daughter before we left. ( this is my attempt at bar tending) We encounter young people quite regularly who are hungry for the supernatural and they have encountered the Lord through us, getting saved, healed, delivered and feeling the Lord’s presence touch them in many different ways, through laughter, heat, and by feeling peace and some even felt drunk when we prayed.
He wants you to ENCOUNTER HIM so you can be an encounter to others
Since I stopped ‘doing a Jonah’ (and running away from God and His goodness) in 2008, I’ve had lots of different prophetic promises spoke over me from various unrelated people, some about ~
- TRAINING and EQUIPPING people,
- RELEASING them into their DESTINY,
- BEING A LIGHT in DARK PLACES,
- Then more specific ones about meeting and letting Wiccans, New Agers and Druids experience God’s love for them…
- Organising and being used in conferences and large gatherings/ceremonies/music festivals…
- I would also see places/lands and people groups in visions or dreams…
I always kept a book of them with the dates and details of the words id been given or more recently I’ve recorded them on my phone, so I wouldn’t forget any of them. At the time when someone gives you a prophetic word/promise it seems too huge and seems too impossible but in your Spirit you know there’s life on it… so don’t rule out the crazy ones! (Always align them with what it says in the Bible and remember His power is limitless and He can use anyone, He even used a donkey! So there are no exceptions)
One word I was given back on the 5th May 2010 in Bethel, California by an amazing prophetic lady went as follows- At the time I didn’t know any Druids or very little about them….
“I see circles in your life and in an around it,
It has to do with the Healing of the Land and people
and for the Druids and what they carry…
they have tried to fashion their circles
over the land that are really cold and uninviting
and your angels go and just burn all of the coldness away.
(See Psalms 115 v 1-8)
You’ve been assigned fiery angels ( Hebrews 1 v 7) which run around in circles and they create a wind tunnel which brings in God’s presence and changes the atmosphere for people to encounter God. It melts the hearts of ice and turns the cold hearted into massive heartbeats of Heaven.
Like Daniel was for the Magi, showing them the true way while they were learning the Eastern Mysticism your going to do that for the Druids. Your going to be able to take the Druids and everything they know about the nature and the way God works through the land and sky (Romans 8 v 22) and your going to be able to show them Jesus in it and they’re going to follow you, they are going to follow you everywhere. They are so devoted and loyal and they’re going to turn their devotion and loyalty to you because of Jesus in you!
And the revelation your going to have is going to be so astounding, so astounding that they are going to fall to their knees and be like ‘who is this God that you serve?’
And you do it out of LOVE and honour and respect for who they are,and what they have delved into because they have stewarded a place in the earth that the Christians haven’t stewarded yet and your going to teach them how God wanted them to steward it.
You’re answering a cry in their heart not just for Jesus but for who they are called to be, THE GATEWATCHERS. People who don’t know you are going to think that you are an angel, those who don’t know the supernatural are going to think you’re an angel.
You’re a Gatekeeper for Heaven – you have had keys and you’ve had them since you were little to open into the mystic and the supernatural and to show people what belongs there and what is there and then you have keys to take them back into this earthly realm. Your going to be able to take people on trips like you’ve never ever known before, where you can walk into drug colonies and take them on way better trips than they’ve never known….”
This word was given to me before I had even met the lady who took me to Hong Kong to work with Jackie Pullinger with the Drug Addicts there and before I had met any wiccans, new agers etc…
Just to explain the terminology, a Gatekeeper is sometimes described as someone who knows and experiences access into the Spirit World, one who makes it possible to commerce with the spirit world. For example Druids usually do this at Stone Circles and Shamans/Wiccans have ceremonies with their gatekeepers for portal openings and closings.
I had met and introduced Jesus to Wiccans and New Agers since that prophetic word in the past few years (at the Giant’s Ring and in Newcastle) but id never met a Druid until Glastonbury nor witnessed any ceremonies apart from the solstices at the Giant’s Ring.
So to hear and see the ‘Gatekeepers’ at Glastonbury (right outside my tent/work) open the portals/doorways to the energy from above and below made it very real.
I was able to walk around while they did their ceremonies and invite heaven to come as Jesus says reading from the (Amplified Bible) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19
Isaiah 22:22 says
“So he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open.” He alone will open or shut the gates of “death” and “hell.”
I could feel His presence and they knew there was something different.
There was one guy who I could feel watching me. He was really quite petite and grey looking with dreads and wore hempy type trousers and robe tops. I later found out he was the Shamanic Priest. ( * Shamans are intermediaries or messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. Shamans are said to treat ailments/illness by mending the soul. The shaman also enters supernatural realms or dimensions to obtain solutions to problems afflicting the community. Shamans may visit other worlds/dimensions to bring guidance to misguided souls and to ameliorate illnesses of the human soul caused by foreign elements. The shaman operates primarily within the spiritual world, which in turn affects the human world.)
That night a few of us at different times put oil on our feet and walked barefoot around the ceremony sites and campsites, singing and praying in tongues, worshipping God openly, you certainly did not look or feel out of place singing in tongues as most people were manifesting, naked or on drugs (actually the majority were all three!)
Everyone I met was so SPIRITUALLY AWARE and lived out of the Supernatural. These Shamans, wiccans and pagans were nice people. When I told people where I was going and who I would be working with a lot of them were talking about spiritual warfare but I believe God doesn’t want to pick a fight . He wants to LOVE. His love is SO disarming and SO powerful. God loves pagans and witches a lot, it’s just unfortunate sometimes that we don’t. From studying ‘Spiritual Warfare’, the weapons of our warfare have been talked about, preached about but the greatest weapon we have against the devil is love, when God wanted to redeem a world that came into the sin of the devil He sent Jesus and He used, simple pure love, He was love. So that was what we did, we loved them and they responded.
Love conquers all fear, all coldness…. I love how this describes it, Psalms 115 “1 Not to us, LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness. 2 Why do the nations say, “Where is their God?” 3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. 4 But their idols are silver and gold,made by human hands. 5 They have mouth mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. 6 They have ears, but cannot hear, noses, but cannot smell.7 They have hands, but cannot feel, feet, but cannot walk, nor can they utter a sound with their throats. 8 Those who make them will be like them and so will all who trust in them”
So if this is talking about the foreign gods attributes then our God FEELS,He is moved emotionally, He cries, laughs, mourns, rejoices, His senses are alive and interacts with ours, He is not a stony faced Grandfather-like Michelangelo painting, We can experience God in deep, REAL BLISS!
I believe in the law of ‘beholding and becoming’- the more you spend time with someone the more you become like them – it works in the opposite too, whatever you worship you become like them, if you worship gods made of stone you will become numb and unfeeling just like the gods chiseled out of stone. WE CAN FEEL AND PERCEIVE AND EXPERIENCE GOD! 2 Cor 3 v 18 “ And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit”
Maybe you hear all these stories and think ‘flaky’ but God wants you to experience Him in ALL His colour, sound, LIFE.
The stone circle and the fire outside our camp were the spiritual center of the Festival. It was at the Stone Circle I saw numerous people practicing ceremonies, trances and tripping out on drugs. I sat on the middle stone and started praying. I was aware Heaven was there; the Lord let me see the angels, feel His presence and it was as if everything going on was slow motion as I worshipped Him and asked for people to come there and be AWARE and AWAKENED to Heaven.
Before we left for Glasto we had a house party in Cardiff where people prayed and prophesied over us. While I was there a lady walked in and it was really funny because when she walked in I could see her (in the spirit) wearing scuba gear. I asked her what this meant and she said it was her nickname ‘Scuba’ as she delves into the deep things of God. She prophesied me and said that “ there are going to be three people that come to me at the festival and your going to speak really specifically into their lives and lead them to the Lord, 2 girls and a guy”
So as I’m sitting there at the Stone Circle remembering this a guy comes over and sits beside me. Instantly the Lord starts showing me things about him, the secrets of His heart ( 1 Cor 14 v 25 “And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed” ) … I asked him if he is a cyclist and if he hurt his elbow in a competition in Germany in January this year. He looks freaked out but says YES and I continue to tell him what the Lord shows me for him. He asks me my story, I tell him my testimony and about two minutes later he is asking to know this Jesus, who knows all about him. He had been to all the psychics and spiritualists and he came away feeling worse than what he had before. He said when we were speaking he felt a real peace and knew that I could not have known the things I said if it had not been for His creator sharing it with me. He wanted to know the God I served and who loved him.
A few minutes later a lady approaches us on the stone and just says ‘I need to know what your talking about?’ The guy is laughing loving this and I share my story and he shares his. I let her know that Jesus knows all about her, that she is a teacher and has two daughters etc and she comes to know the Lord there too.
I have to go back to work by this stage and on my next break I know I have to go sit outside the Shaman’s tent. He shows me where to sit and as I sit down a lady comes over and asks if she can sit with me, ( I know this is the second lady that was prophesied about) so I listen to her story, she tells me she is a spiritualist who seen me in a dream and knew she had to ask me my story. She had come on her own to Glastonbury and was devastated as she had been coming the last 14 years with her now estranged hubby (who she had to separate from as he had stole from her to feed his addictions) In the spirit I saw her crying over a son and I told her and she burst into tears saying her son had been diagnosed with leukemia. She was so precious, she let me pray with her there in the Shaman’s tent in front of loads of people and gave her heart to the Lord.
One night I’m in the tent (which Is like a big tepee) and I see his shadow walking around the tent, trying to open the windows and reach in to get me. As soon as he does, my spirit starts singing and I see my friend worshiping playing her flute and these amazing colours come out off her flute and create a whirlwind like a rainbow of colour and sound around the tent, blocking out his access. The funniest thing was he was cross and was trying to get in but when he touched the colours he started laughing, ridiculously, then he would pull his hand out and get cross and do it again. Psalms chapter 2 v 4 says “He who sits in the heavens laughs” and if you really come into an experiential revelation of what it means ‘to be seated with Christ in Heavenly places’ then you can STAND in the midst of all kinds of darkness and LAUGH along with the Lord, even amongst the enemies of the Lord raging against you and He wants them to feel it too, His JOY, His Life and colour and sound.
Next morning I told the guys what happened and wondered if it was a dream or was I awake. I checked the outside of the tent and all the zips were undone, so it seemed pretty real. I asked the Lord to confirm that He was on the Shaman’s heart. That he had encountered Jesus. Previously the Shaman wore old looking hemp robes and had dreads, no labels about him at all. The next day he comes he comes up to me wearing something totally out of character, a zip up top that said Gsus across his heart! That was the sign I needed. He looked brighter and gave me a big smile.
Later that day I went up on the hill to pray and I asked the Lord to show me He was working on His heart and all I needed to do was be the light and pray. Next thing I open my eyes and the Shaman is right in front of me smiling and then He raises His hands to Heaven and smiles and disappeared!
The following day we hear a piper up on the hill behind us, we can hear that he is playing modern day songs amongst the bustle of all the other music when all of a sudden we are aware of God’s presence and he starts playing ‘Amazing Grace’. I hear someone on the stage beside us stop playing and say“ the Holy Spirit is here”…. The piper told one of our friends that someone on the other side of the 900 acre site had heard that chorus and felt compelled to bring him a drink of water from that distance, it took him so long and it was so hot he drank half of it but wanted to tell him how much he had appreciated it! CRAZY!
Loads of other things happened which ill share with you another time but on the way home I fell asleep in the airport in Cardiff and I saw a field of apples and what appeared to be a druid king who had a broken heart and I went over and started mending his wounds while praying and speaking life over him …. I woke up and started playing with my iphone, I typed in Glastonbury and up popped Wikipedia and the ‘Fields of Avalon’ which was where we stayed ….I read that it means the Island of Apples and this fruit once grew in great abundance. Apples represent God’s breath and fruitful harvest!

I read on that “ a noblewoman called Morgan, later the ruler and patroness of these parts as well as being a close blood-relation of King Arthur, carried him off to the island, now known as Glastonbury, so that his wounds could be cared for”….
I love the Lord speaking to people on Airplanes.
He picks your seat you know!
A lady was sitting by the window and I felt the Lord highlight her left leg to me and I asked her if she had a sore left leg. She looked confused ‘how did you now?’ and it started from there. She had bad circulation in her leg and they were contemplating an amputation, so she let me pray.
She asked me my story and she listened and asked a lot of questions. The Lord gave me loads of specifics for her. She believed there was a God and had always felt she had not been able to live her dreams out as her husband had died after eight years of marriage leaving her with seven young children.
I kept hearing the names Andrew and Alison and asked her who they were, She cried and said they were her only two kids who had the same degenerate heart disease as her husband. She let me pray for them too. The Lord gave me such sweet comforting words for her that she had been faithful to her kids and her mission field at home and that He was always there for her and she could live out her dreams with Him….
I find it interesting how God started my story with my elbow being healed. Then experiencing signs and wonders. He moved me closer and closer into the very heart of the gospel. All the signs and wonders are great and all, but they aren’t smack in the center of God’s heart. Neither are miracles. Hong Kong and Romania had me moving into His love for the lost and the broken. But im getting to know the Father of Lights, the center of all things, and it’s going to make some people very uncomfortable. Especially religious people.
If we aren’t going to love the world around us, then we might as well pack it all up and go home. If we don’t love, and if we don’t bring freedom with us, then we are simply another religion, lumped in with the rest of them.
The truth is, the light of the world resides within us.
And we have but one Father and He loves you, no exceptions to that …
He’s here…… for you

To be or not to be …. where you’re meant to be…

That weekend trip to America to encounter God’s healing and transforming power was the turning point in my life. Three years ago standing there in that stadium He showed me some of the plans He had for me and what the future could look like if I chose Him.
As I was reading back through my journal from that trip I can honestly say that everything that was prophesied, imparted and prayed over me has happened, every single detail and MORE. At that time ALL those promises seemed untouchable, unrealistic and impossible BUT experiencing Him there changed me forever. He has been SO faithful to His word and it has been a WILD, FUN, ADVENTURE ever since. He’s all I want, He’s all I need, everything…. He alone satisfies, fills the deepest places of your heart.
The journey of how we ended up there was crazy and the fact we flew half way round the world to be there for two days is a book in itself! Every detail He had planned for us…. He healed me there and I love the scar on my arm that reminds me of when, where and how I was healed. He can turn ashes to beauty, mourning to dancing… He turned my life around and showed me where I needed to be.
I had been ‘doing a Jonah’ and running from Him but that day I ran to Him and have been seeking Him out ever since. He has places for you to go, people for you to meet, adventures to take you on, things to show you, gifts to give you…. but it’s your choice to choose to be with Him.
This weekend I had a choice to make about where I was meant to be.
This time last year I was in Bethel, California at the Leader’s Advance. I knew He wanted me there and had people for me to meet. There I sat beside Maggie who took me with her to Hong Kong where I lived with the most amazing people in St Stephen’s Society and worked for Jackie Pullinger shortly after that. Through meeting Jerry at the conference we were able to bring JesusCulture to Belfast. The Lord knows even the seemingly impossible desires of our hearts too as I He set me up to sit beside an Olympic winning snow boarder at the Advance so I could get her to pray for my boarding skills !
I had the choice to go to the Advance and naturally would have jumped at the chance but I felt Him saying ‘Id rather you didn’t this time but it’s up to you’ …. so I left it to last minute, had the flights on hold and waited for my ‘fleece’ id left out to come back with a big, fat ‘yessss …goooo I was only kidding’ but alas no confirmation arrived. I was a little disappointed as I was excited about seeing my friends there but had to remind myself His timing and plans always outweigh mine.
If I had of took off to America, Im sure I would have had a great time but I would have missed His purposes for me here. I’ll fill you in on some of the stories from yesterday’s MayDay Fun Day.
As I was setting up my Mozambootique stand at the Car Boot Sale behind our church hall I asked the Lord to send people my way who He wanted to talk to. Within minutes a dodgy looking white van hurtled into the spot down from me. The driver bounces out and starts giving the other stall owners hassle. He looked pretty scary but as he walked up to my stall and started talking I could feel the Lord’s presence even settling his harshness
The Lord started showing me things to ask him. I asked him about motorbikes and other specifics he showed me about. He told me his best friend was called Jason and when I asked him if this was the case, not only was he a Jason but the son of my old Pastor!
God was setting this guy up! BIG TIME! I asked him what happened to his leg, was it an accident ? By this time he was freaking out…. ‘ how do you know this stuff?’ I told him I was a follower of Jesus and He showed me what He wanted me to say to him because He wanted him to experience His reality. He pulled up his trouser leg and showed me his calf which had a huge chunk missing out of it, saying it was a shark bite?! He eventually told me a few years back he had been so drunk that he had walked out into the middle of a busy road and bent down to pick up an english £5 pound note as a car hit him from behind. His surgeons said if he had not bet over because of the way the car struck him he would have been killed outright. ‘Funny that’ he says ‘ Ive kept finding english fivers randomly since that’ ! I told him to check his pocket…he pulled out an English fiver and his face went white! ‘That wasnt there earlier!!!!’
I told him that fivers to me represented ‘change’ its what you get back when you get change of a larger 10 or 20…. but it stood for the CHANGE that the Lord was reminding him that he brought into his life. Picking that fiver up saved his life…. actually it was the Lord that saved his life and the fivers show up to remind him of this. He asked me my story and I told him about my accident and the change that the Lord had brought to me.
I asked him how come he was at a church car boot sale in Carryduff miles away from his home. He said he stopped to help a guy in a transit who had broken down and he told him that he was on his way to a car boot sale so he decided to come along … but he knew too that the Lord had set him up! As the day went on we chatted more and more about God and I prayed that the Lord would send more people to speak into his life and show him how precious he was to him. Four men turned up and were able to share their stories with him. I know the Lord had him where he was meant to be and so did he.
If you have read my blog before you will have read my story about my dream list and ‘stroking a monkey under an open heaven’ …well on the way out of the car park, white van man stops his van and rolls down the window and hands me a toy monkey and says thank you … “I think this may mean something to you!” Isnt God hilarious, when you stroke the monkey it laughs?!
I went up to the face painting area as I was on from 1-2pm and while i was watching a little one getting a butterfly painted on her face I noticed a lady leaning against the wall with a crutch. I went over to her and asked her what was wrong with her knee, she asked ‘how do you know it was my knee?’ I told her ‘Ive seen a lot of knees healed lately, how about getting some prayer for yours?” She said ‘ok. i havent prayed for years mind you, He may not know who I am?!” I said ” dont worry, He definitely does know and loves you’ ….she sat nervously in the healing room but as the folk started praying she relaxed and you could feel the peace of God in the room. The Lord showed me people buying her flowers and how she really loved her family so generously and selflessly. She started praying and thanked God for us and her healing. I was in bits by this stage …. she said she was able to move her knee in ways she hadnt been able to before.YAY GOD!
We met loads of people but my favourite was a Druid lady who had wandered in as she thought the falconry man might have been at the FunDay. The Lord showed me her name and her sicknesses and what she was feeling. She didnt seem phased by these words of knowledge as she was used to the supernatural but she kept asking “why are you being so lovely?! ‘our kind’ are not welcomed in churches.” I told her ”God loves pagans and witches a lot, it’s just unfortunate sometimes that we don’t ” We talked about the creator and she listened to my stories of encounters with wiccans, at the solstices, new age fairs and on treasure hunts. She was intriqued and I knew she was feeling loved, half way through our conversation she said she thought she saw the Archangel Michael in a dream so I took her into the church ( so she felt the impact of all the hours of worship and prayer from it) to show her a small statue we had of him. She said he looked exactly like how she had seen him…. ” Maybe he has been sent to fight for you” I said. She said the church and all the people were causing her to feel ‘funny but good’ but she needed to go. It was like something was waging war inside her….
I remembered this quote from the film ‘Furious Love’ ” ~ the greatest weapon we have against the devil is love, when God wanted to redeem a world that came into the sin of the devil He sent Jesus and He used, simple pure love, He was love” and that’s what was speaking to this Druid girl more than the words I was saying His love for her was reaching her when no one else could. I know we will see her, white van man and healed knee lady again…. keep praying for them and be where your meant to be =)
Keep it simple LOVE them and let God change them
Its not pointing out what they are or not doing
Its loving them and letting HIM pursue them
Nomatter who we are or what weve done
There is a war going on for us
The weapon of our warfare against the darkness is His love
He desperately wants to pursue us and to give us His love
In this war of the invisible, the spiritual war has brought us pain, fear, disappointment , doubt and abuse but there is One who fights for us, who fights against the darkness He is our defender, our pursuer, our God, our Father ….. He fights for you and LOVE ALWAYS WINS

The Happy Missionary
This July and August a group of us will be going to Mozambique to visit the Iris Ministries centre in the coastal city of Pemba. Iris Ministries has been based in the country since 1996, and now cares for over 2000 orphans in a number of different centres around the country.
The centre we will be visiting is now the largest in the country and comprises of a school, a church, dormitories, visitors’ centre, a clinic for local area, and a ministry school for discipleship training.
During our time in the centre we will be ministering to the Pastors and students, serving food to the village children, praying for people in the clinic and helping out where we can with any ongoing projects.
We will also serve outside the centre by going to pray for people at the local hospital, going to pray for people at the local prison, visiting another Iris centre and going out on a bush outreach where we will camp out there for two nights telling people about Jesus and offering to pray for them.
